Investment in the stock / equity market is the best place to boost your money.Equity, typically referred to as shareholders' equity (or owners' equity for privately held companies), represents the amount of money that would be returned to a company's shareholders if all of the assets were liquidated and all of the company's debt was paid off in the case of liquidation. In the case of acquisition, it is the value of company sales minus any liabilities owed by the company not transferred with the sale. In Finance equity is ownership of assets that may have debts or other liabilities attached to them. Equity is measured for accounting purposes by deducting liabilities from the value of the assets

A Mutual Fund is a professionally  managed investment fund that pools money  from many investors to purchase securities. Even though Fixed Deposit Schemes will not offer very high interest rates still you will be assured of decent returns. A fixed deposit is a financial instrument provided by banks and NBFCs which provides investors a higher rate of interest than a regular savings account until the given maturity date

Buying  government bonds is another way of investing in money market. Rate of interest varies from time to time. A Government Bond or soverign bond is a debt obligation issued by a national government to support government spending. It generally includes a commitment to pay periodic interest called coupon payments and to repay the face value on the maturity date.
